Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Center will be buzzing with the sound of business talk Tuesday, April 30th. The Chamber's annual Business EXPO creates a marketplace for business-to-business activity and networking. There will be a cross-section of services and goods on display and offered offered by area businesses. The assortment of companies vary with banking, investments, printing, specialty advertising, television, telecommunications, health care and locksmiths/security professionals. Last year there was even a coffee service company that kept everyone "charged." 2012 was the largest turnout in several years, according to Ashley Summers, chairwoman of the event.
"We had a lot of new faces among our vendors, along with a lot of standbys who have been coming for years,” Summers said. Retuning for the event in April 2013 are a series of educational session designed to help business owners and managers increase profits and retain their present customer base through effective customer service.
