Christmas Parade

2009 Christmas Parade

Help us spark the magic of Christmas and the excitement of the season during the annual Christmas Parade held in downtown Longview on Thursday, December 3, 2009. The parade starts promptly at 6:30 PM and includes lighted units for that extra special effect.

Thousands of spectators start gathering early in the afternoon to get the perfect spot to watch over one hundred twenty units. There will be marching bands, Shriner Clowns and their miniature automobile antics, fire trucks, beauty queens, miniature horses, dozens of decorated floats, elected officials and much more.

Spend an evening in historic downtown Longview and spark that magical Christmas feeling, again.
