Last Chance to Register for TCEQ Advocacy Luncheon

The Longview Partnership’s Business Advocacy Committee is hosting a business luncheon August 19th. The luncheon will feature Jack Holsomback, TCEQ Small Business and Local Government Assistance representative and Timmy Burris, TCEQ Ambient Air Monitoring representative. Holsomback and Burris are both from the Tyler TCEQ office.

The August 19th program will focus on new proposed air quality standards as well as the Texas Emmissions Reduction Plan (TERP). The TERP program provides financial incentives to eligible individuals, businesses or local governments to reduce emissions from polluting vehicles and equipment.   There will be time for questions and answers from the audience at the end of the program.

The luncheon will be held on Thursday August 19th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Challenge at Oak Forest. The cost is $25 per person. Registration is required at info1@longviewtx.com or www.longviewchamber.com.
