Stephanie Carolton started working for Senator Cornyn in early 2009, serving as his health policy aide during the national health care reform debate. During her 7 years on Capitol Hill, Stephanie has worked on the Senate's two key health care committees: the Senate Finance Committee, with jurisdiction over Medicare and Medicaid policies, and the Senate HELP Committee, with jurisdiction over health insurance, the Food and Drug Administration and public health issues. Stephanie is a registered nurse and worked in labor and delivery at Georgetown Universtiy Hospital for three years.

 

Stephanie will be speaking on what the new health law means for businesses, health care providers, patients, and taxpayers- and what to expect before the law's 2014 implementation date.
