The Longview Partnership’s Annual Golf Tournament, the Par Busters Golf Tournament, will be returning October 18, 2010. The Longview Partnership is actively seeking players to help fill the roster; company’s willing to sponsor the event, and companies willing to donate golf items for player gift bags and door prizes. The opportunities offer wide exposure to the Longview Partnership community and the chance to take part in a fun and charitable event.
The 2010 tournament will mark a significant milestone within the community and for the Longview Partnership as it celebrates 16 years of community support, honor, spirit, competition, friendships and charity. The field of 200 golfers is made up of some of the most influential members of the local business community, as well as dignitaries from the surrounding area. The tournament is also embraced by local golf enthusiasts. A casual atmosphere, a fun and relaxed awards ceremony, additional entertainment and players of varying abilities has kept many individuals and businesses returning year after year. This year will also feature a delicious banquets catered by Outback Steakhouse.
For those interested in playing in the 16th Annual Par Busters Golf Tournament the format of the tournament is a four-man scramble. Cost for a single reservation is only $150 for Longview Chamber members and $175 for non-members, 2-man team reservation is $300 and $350 for non-members and 4-man team reservation is $600 and $650 for non-members. Players compete at all levels of skill, contest on every hole such as will longest drive and closest to the pin, as well as breakfast from Texas Best Smokehouse, lunch from Smashburger and dinner by Outback Steakhouse.
