Transportation: The Partnership remains extremely involved in the policy making processes with local transportation authorities to ensure mobility needs are being met. We continue to look at the long-range planning for the community with local government as well as advocating on behalf of funding requests from State & Federal agencies. Projects of importance range from additional interstate and highway signage on I 20 and Highway 259
to supporting the East Texas Regional Airport, the newly formed Regional Mobility Authority (which Gregg County participates in), and the new signage to the central business district, the Partnership works on your behalf to improve mobility issues and act as an advocate for future projects in the East Texas area. |
